Glenfiddich 21 Year Old Reserva Rum Cask Finish is a unique expression from the Glenfiddich Distillery, spending the first 21 years of its life patiently maturing in the distillery's warehouse. After this, the whisky is transferred to barrels which were previously used to age Caribbean rum for a further four months to impart even warmer and richer flavours. The character of the Caribbean shines through in this malt, having exquisite and rich aromas of banana, fig and new leather intermingling luxuriously on the nose. Complex and vibrant peppery flavours, with oak, lime, ginger and just the merest hint of smoke on the palate. A long, dry, spicy and superbly warming finish. A mature and traditional malt, uniquely intriguing, yet still bearing the unmistakable Glenfiddich character.
