Raindrop cake is easy to make at home. No baking is required to make this smooth, soft and crystal clear cake. You need two to three ingredients only to make this cake.

First of all you need a mould to give a right shape of raindrop. Measurement is very important in making such type of impactful dessert. Here you need a balanced measurement of agar and water. Agar is best suitable to give a jelly like crystal clear texture to cake. Gelatin will give more elasticity while agar will give a crumbly texture to tap smoothly with spoon.

1/8 Teaspoon of agar

1 cup of water around 250 ml distilled water

½ Tablespoon sugar powder

In one non stick pan pour water and agar and let it boil. Keep stirring till agar doesn’t dissolve in water. Now add extract and sugar in boiling water.

Just cook it after for one or two minute in a low flame. Now remove it from the pan to mould.

Now put this cake moulds into freeze and let it sit for one house. Once it is cool down, unmold the cakes and top it with sesame seeds and mint leaves.
