Cherry-Quartz is not technically a gemstone. It is created using natural reconstituted quartz and cinnabar. It's then melted and given its dazzling energetic flashes or pink colour in the clear quartz. So it is not naturally formed, it is dyed quartz. Similar to Citrine which is a crystal but it is dyed Amethyst. The Cherry Quartz crystal is beautiful to behold and is said to bring hope. Helpful with anxiety and depression. In healing it is used to help with anything to do with the respiratory system.
